The Palace Guard, so named because he can be found at Jabba's Palace, works along with the Gamorrean Guard to protect Jabba the Hutt. In Episode VI, Lando Calrissian dresses up as a Palace Guard to help save Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca. Contrary to his friends, Lando was not caught by Jabba until he started to fight alongside them at the Pit of Carkoon. There are different types of palace guards.
